The Mānuka tree, a native shrub of New Zealand, features white or pink flowers and sharp-tipped leaves. It is incredibly resilient and  capable of thriving in extreme climates. However, the flowers bloom for only a brief period in the summer, lasting between 2 to 6 weeks.

Mānuka honey, derived from the nectar of the Mānuka flower, is renowned for its healing properties. It possesses antimicrobial qualities, making it antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral. Remarkably, bees must undertake approximately 22,700 trips to the Mānuka flower to produce just one jar of Mānuka honey.
